A New School Year

As kids we would mark important milestone like the last day of school, Easter, our birthdays, the Fourth of July, the fair, Thanksgiving, Christmas... As parent I too mark those milestone but in a whole different light. I watch as my children grow and change and I see these milestone as bittersweet moments. It is odd but I get very sad this time of year, my babies are growing up. I know that they can not stay small forever. It not that I feel older I can only watch and wonder.

Monday marked the new school year for James and Lilli. We went to the school last Thursday and meet their new teachers. Lilli has Mrs. Manch and James has Mrs. Leoveno. 

Last Day of School

Well today was James' last day of Kindergarten and he now a First Grader.

James is on his way to First Grade! James was so much of a ham. He keep waving and smiling at us he was so proud of himself. He sang so big.
James got his kindergarten certificate, 100 word certificate, and got a trophy 100 words. His very first trophy!
My pictures did not turn out good at all the lady in front of us keep getting in front of the camera.
Megan is going to send me some of the pictures she took so as soon as I get them I will post them.

He is growing up.

It is so hard to believe that James is going to Graduate Kindergarten on Monday. The time has gone by so fast. I talked to his teacher about how he will do in 1st grade and she said he is ready. His math and reading skills are above K levels. I just hope he continues far into the future.

Getting ready for school.

Today Nana called and David on his cell phone and talked to her in the meantime Grandma called my cell phone.
We had normal chit-chat.
Lilli had a better night tonight she fell asleep wit no problems. Yeah.
Still no word for Mama Rose. Wonder what she is up to now. Other then that not much else going on tonight.
